To kick off the new year we welcome back Lightovation, with over 1 million square feet of permanent exhibits across all categories of interior and exterior lighting, plus additional programming and convenient access to other home décor brands during the concurrent Total Home & Gift Market.
And this year, we have a few very special features to make the show even more important for everyone involved in the lighting business. Sandow Design Group, the premier design-focused media group and publisher of magazines including Interior Design and Metropolis, is our partner for the Lightovation Design + Build Day on Tuesday, January 13, delivering an exciting schedule of programming created specifically for interior designers, architects and builders.
The design and build community is invited to participate in a full day of curated experiences, educational sessions with design thought leaders and guided showroom tours with participation from the editors-in-chief from each publication.
Design + Build Day will also feature inspiring keynotes from Interior Design editor-in-chief Cindy Allen and Metropolis editor-in-chief Avinash Rajagopal. Cindy Allen will also lead a one-on-one conversation with acclaimed architect and designer Lauren Rottet of Rottet Studio about creativity and innovation across commercial, residential, and hospitality design. Also during Lightovation will be a special exhibit of Latin American lighting manufacturers taking place in Trade Mart 4909. More than a dozen companies will be showcasing finished lighting products and components. These exhibitors have been pre-selected based on their history, operating experience, and delivery. The exhibition will feature a presentation of each company’s production and/or supply chain services capabilities, and each exhibitor will be prepared to immediately engage with attendees regarding terms and conditions of product development and production.
