Conversations with Cindy: The Masters Were Back for June

Posted by Cindy Morris on June 18, 2026

While the primary purpose of the Dallas Market Center is to connect buyers and sellers, I’ve always felt we have a role to play in both educating and enlightening our market attendees on how to be better at what they do.

That’s why we started the Masters Series, which presents experts in specific areas talking about their businesses. It’s in addition to our live demonstrations, expert-led tours, industry awards, and special promotions, activations, and buyer hospitality inside The Temps.

In June, our Masters Series included four tastemakers:

  • John Mark Sharpe opened the series on Wednesday, June 24, at the World Trade Center atrium stage with “Beyond the Bow,” a live demonstration paired with a conversation about his career journey and business-building insights. John Mark also stopped by the 13th floor on Thursday for a live demonstration and meet & greet focused on retail displays that drive sales.

  • Chris Norwood of Norwood Day Floral Co. took to the World Trade Center atrium stage on Thursday, June 25, with “The Art of Entertaining,” showcasing the details that transform gatherings into unforgettable events.

  • Presley Pierce welcomed guests to the WTC 12th floor on Thursday for “Styled for Summer – Your Guide for Gatherings,” a festive live demonstration of sunny décor ideas and effortless inspiration for hosting beautiful summer get-togethers. She also took to the World Trade Center atrium stage on Friday, June 26, for “Deck The Halls – Christmas in July” featuring inspired arrangements, elegant décor, and stunning seasonal design ideas to bring holiday magic to the center of summer celebrations. And Presley returned for an encore of “Styled for Summer – Your Guide for Gatherings” that same day on the WTC 12th floor.

  • Jeff & Jody Long of The English Cottage hosted live demonstrations Wednesday on WTC 12 and Friday at the World Trade Center atrium stage.

I hope you got to attend at least a few of these presentations — I know I always come away from them having learned something valuable and fun!
