In the first half of 2026, more than 100 brands will move into expanded and newly built showrooms inside the Interior Home + Design Center, marking the largest wave of new showroom development at the marketplace in over a decade.
The growth begins with C. Maddox & Co., which is already under construction on a custom 40,000-square-foot flagship showroom on the second floor, expected to open this spring. Representing more than 30 leading home furnishings brands—including Caracole, CR Laine, Hancock & Moore, John-Richard, Made Goods, Modern History, Taracea, Vanguard Furniture, and Wesley Hall Upholstery—C. Maddox & Co. will anchor this next chapter of design expansion.
Additional showrooms will relocate into the building throughout the year, along with exhibitors new to Dallas Market Center. As part of this evolution, their former showroom will be reimagined as flexible tradeshow space to support a growing calendar of design-driven events.
This expansion reinforces Dallas Market Center’s long-term commitment to the business of home décor. Designers benefit from the steady traffic of an open-daily design center combined with high-energy market weeks throughout the year. As demand for permanent showroom space continues to rise, this growth ensures that designers and retailers have even more access to sought-after brands in one centralized destination.
The IHDC itself has been evolving for years. Following its 2016 renovation and rebranding, the building has become a cornerstone for design in Dallas—home to corporate showrooms such as Visual Comfort, Currey & Co., Surya, Palecek, Global Views, Uttermost, Unique Loom, and American Leather, along with multi-line showrooms including Coco & Dash and MC Studio. Nearby shared spaces like The Gallery and the Textile Salon further expand sourcing across décor, textiles, rugs, and more.
Originally opened in 1957 as The Home Furnishings Mart, the iconic building now features updated architecture, expanded entrances, and enhanced accessibility, all designed to support today’s design community.
As Dallas continues to grow as a hub for residential, commercial, and hospitality design, the Interior Home + Design Center is expanding alongside it, welcoming more brands, designers, and opportunities in 2026 and beyond.
