The ongoing relocations and expansions within the Interior Home + Design Center continue to strengthen Dallas Market Center as a premier destination for designers sourcing home furnishings, lighting, textiles, and décor. New and relocated showrooms—including C. Maddox & Co., Ethan & Associates, Rose Casual, and Design Directions—expand the marketplace’s offerings across luxury furnishings, outdoor living, textiles, and contemporary design. Pom Pom at Home, a new addition to the Interior Home + Design Center, brings its signature collection of relaxed luxury bedding, linens, soft home décor, and lifestyle essentials to Dallas designers. Together, these additions enhance the breadth of resources available throughout the IHDC while reinforcing the center’s continued momentum and growth.

The Gallery continues to expand its mix of design resources with the addition of Lighthouse Design Studio, Scandia Home, Corsto, and MR Walls, joining recently introduced brand Alicia Adams Alpaca. Together, these additions further enhance the destination’s curated collection of design-forward resources.

Within the Textile Salon, new exhibitors Down Decor, Post House Designs, and Hue & Dot by Mirth Studios bring fresh textile, wallcovering, and soft home resources to the growing designer-focused showroom environment.

The expansion continued with Ethan & Associates, which opened on the second floor with more than 13,000 square feet of showroom space. The new showroom introduced more than 40 home furnishings brands, including Verellen, Jonathan Charles, Hudson Valley Lighting, Thayer Coggin, Planum Furniture, Whittemore Sherrill, Stickley Furniture, Eleanor Rigby Home, The MT Company, Temple Furniture, and more. The relocation was part of a broader transition that brought additional showrooms to the second floor.

The growth began with C. Maddox & Co., which opened its custom 40,000-square-foot flagship showroom on the second floor during Design Days. The showroom represented more than 30 leading home furnishings brands—including Caracole, CR Laine, Hancock & Moore, John-Richard, Made Goods, Modern History, Taracea, Vanguard Furniture, and Wesley Hall Upholstery—and anchored the new chapter of Dallas Market Center’s design expansion.

Relocations and expansions from other design exhibitors will be announced in the future.

Additional showrooms will relocate into the building throughout the year, along with exhibitors new to Dallas Market Center. As part of this evolution, their former showroom will be reimagined as a flexible tradeshow space to support a growing calendar of design-driven events.

Why It Matters

This expansion reinforces Dallas Market Center’s long-term commitment to the business of home décor. Designers benefit from the steady traffic of an open-daily design center combined with high-energy market weeks throughout the year. As demand for permanent showroom space continues to rise, this growth ensures that designers and retailers have even more access to sought-after brands in one centralized destination.$RAPFMKE

The IHDC itself has been evolving for years. Following its 2016 renovation and rebranding, the building has become a cornerstone for design in Dallas—home to corporate showrooms such as Visual Comfort, Currey & Co., Surya, Palecek, Global Views, Uttermost, Unique Loom, and American Leather, along with multi-line showrooms including Coco & Dash and MC Studio. Nearby shared spaces like The Gallery and the Textile Salon further expand sourcing across décor, textiles, rugs, and more.

Originally opened in 1957 as The Home Furnishings Mart, the iconic building now features updated architecture, expanded entrances, and enhanced accessibility, all designed to support today’s design community.

As Dallas continues to grow as a hub for residential, commercial, and hospitality design, the Interior Home + Design Center is expanding alongside it, welcoming more brands, designers, and opportunities in 2026 and beyond.

Upcoming design events at Dallas Market Center include Design Days (April 14–15), Total Home & Gift Market (June 24–30), Lightovation (June 24–27), and Design + Build Day (June 23).
