On August 10, the Texas Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) rolled out the red carpet for their 2018 Legacy of Design Awards and Gala. Designers from across the Lone Star State gathered inside the Dallas Market Center Trade Mart to celebrate the best in interior design at this annual competition.
Attendees shared cocktails and a decadent dinner as each winner was unveiled through a presentation of their work. Our own Vice President of Design, Michael Bauer, was among the esteemed honorees, taking home the Kathy Hammond Industry Partner Award, which is bestowed upon an “Industry Partner Representative who has continually and enthusiastically supported ASID Texas through their contribution of time, energy, materials and resources.” Bauer was selected for his integral role in making Dallas Market Center the first-ever Diamond Sponsor of ASID Texas.
“I’m so overwhelmed by the support of the design community and thrilled at the same time,” says Bauer. “This award gives me a sense of accomplishment in my career. Thank you DMC, Cindy Morris and Eva Walsh for believing in me and letting me do what I love to do.”
