You’re going to be surprised who are the highest ranking big companies when it comes to trust and likability in the country. You might be thinking Apple or Disney would head the list but it turns out Americans really rank many of the country’s retailers at the top of the list.
A new study from research company Caliber ranked companies within the Fortune 30 and the winners reflected strong support for retailers. Amazon and Costco, along with UPS tied at the top of the list, which included eight retailing brands.
Caliber says its annual “Trust & Like Score ranking is based on a daily tracking study that measures public perceptions of the 30 largest and most visible Fortune 500 companies, selected based on their annual revenue and familiarity among the general public. This year’s results are based on 14,230 evaluations throughout 2024 representing the U.S. population.”
Here’s this year’s top 10, including several ties:
- Amazon, Costco, UPS (tied for first)
- FedEx
- Lowe’s, The Home Depot (tied for third)
