During COVID, the supply chain was disrupted and companies paid high prices to get goods from overseas. The China tariffs currently in place might be even worse as both suppliers and retailers scramble to make sense of what is a chaotic and fast-changing situation.

It’s why we’ve decided to devote our D2B e-newsletter exclusively to the subject of trade and tariffs for the foreseeable future. Our aim is to provide as much information, guidance and assistance as we possibly can to help get you through this period.

During moments like this, I believe it is incredibly important to maintain communication with customers, to be transparent with them about any changes, to encourage patience but also to move forward with their business. Our message of encouragement to buyers across all industries is that this summer it's more important than ever to attend our markets as they rethink buying patterns and choices.  
To support this need, we are immediately focusing all our communications with our customers with this core message: "Retail Rules Are Changing. Be at Market To Rewrite Yours." You’ll also read in the next story what we’re doing to support your companies through substantial lobbying efforts.
