It all started at the Dallas Market Center, where I met my incredible wife Claudia in front of my good friend Scott Blair's showroom. Little did I know, years later, at his New Year’s party, we would fall in love. Now, we’re blessed with two amazing daughters, who may one day follow in our footsteps in the industry. We’ve built a beautiful life together, working side by side, always supporting each other to be the best versions of ourselves. Love, family, and teamwork—what more could we ask for? ❤️

This is a fun one! I met my (now) husband, Terry Mullen, at the June Dallas Market in 1998. We had our first date during the January Dallas Market in 2001.

Ed and I met at the old apparel mart in 1977!  I worked in the Pant-Her showroom with Bill Parker and Ed’s showroom was next door. He was carrying Jones New York.  At first, I didn’t like him, lol!!  Now, almost 43 years of marriage and 47 years of working together ….well,  I guess he grew on me!

 DMC

Dallas Market Center:

Randy and Julie first met when Julie started working in the leasing department at the Apparel Mart in 1990.  They began dating in 1994 when they both were working in the Operations Department with Andy Anderson.  At the time, the rule at DMC was no dating if working within the same department.  An executive assistant position became available in the marketing department (Cindy Morris) and Julie was fortunate enough to land that role.

They married in 2000 and will celebrate their 25th anniversary this year!  Although Julie left DMC in 2007, Randy still calls it home and all the people there will always have a special place in their hearts.

Boutique Hub

I met my boyfriend’s mom, Marla Skipper, the owner of Nash Grey Wholesale(7010 WTC) at The Boutique Hub’s (13-812 WTC) 13th floor showroom block party in January 2023. She immediately asked if I was single because she wanted to set me up with her son, Ross.

October market The Boutique Hub and Nash Grey had booths right next to each other and the World Series was hosted in Dallas that week. I have a family member that works for the Diamondbacks who played the Rangers and was determined to go. Marla told me that I would be going with her son. Fast forward to Friday, he helped break down both booths and we went to Game 1 of The World Series! We do long distance now and things are great!

My wife and I met when the jewelry show rooms were on the third floor back in 1993. She managed a costume jewelry showroom, and I walked past her showroom to get to mine. We started out as friends hanging out for about a year before our relationship began.  We got married February 12, 2000, have 2 amazing sons and just celebrated our 25th anniversary.

My girlfriend Haley Werner and I met at a Hinkley Awards Banquet party in Dallas while attending market. We were both reps, in Delaware and New Jersey, respectively; although Haley is no longer a rep, and has moved into interior design, we are still a happy as can be couple! Thank you DMC for making me the luckiest man alive!
