The January 2023 WESA's International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Market will be the largest market yet at Dallas Market Center. The January show takes place on top of the Dallas Apparel & Accessories and KidWorld Market, as well as the AETA International Trade Show, making our campus the place to be. The teams at WESA and Dallas Market Center have been BUSY leasing the show, delivering the buyers, promoting the market, and planning events. Keep reading to see everything we’ve been doing to help promote your business.

The Western & English Market just keeps getting bigger! WESA has leased all of WTC 11 Temporaries and have expanded the show to WTC 10. Dallas Market Center has leased the permanent 14th floor resources to 100% capacity with a healthy waiting list. Along with these central show floors (WTC 10, 11 and 14) WESA has members across campus that provide a wide array of product offerings; including gift and home resources that call Dallas Market Center Home. With resources like this across campus retailers can call Dallas Market Center and the WESA show a one stop shop for their businesses.
For more information regarding leasing updates visit our press release here.

Along with WESA's team, DMC's Retail Development team helps bring buyers to Dallas by calling, visiting, and touring stores personally. On Thursday and Friday at 9am, on the first floor of the World Trade Center Atrium, our team welcomes buyers and provides a market orientation called the DMC Scoop. This kind of specialized service before, at, and after market sets Dallas apart and serves up that friendly Texas hospitality.
Dallas' total attendance by retailers at all five apparel, accessories and footwear trade events in 2022 was up almost 20% and the number of buyers attending for the first time was up more than 40% compared to 2019, pre-pandemic numbers. Attendance from key territories was also up for the year: the southeast increased 86%, the upper midwest increased 91%, and the west increased 104% compared to 2019.
For January Market, independent retailers from across the country will be joined by multi-location retail buying groups, and major stores eager to travel to a single location to fulfil their buying needs across lifestyle categories.
The below is a sampling of exciting retailers among so many others that regularly shop Western & English resources in Dallas:
Cavender’s, Boot Barn, Back in the Saddle, Rod’s Western Palace, Parts Unknown, Pinto Ranch, Dover, Atwood’s, Kemo Sabe, SmartPak, Equus Now!, DaMoors Feed & Tack, Tackeria, Calabasas Saddlery, Allen’s Boot Center and St. Croix Saddlery.

The marketing team works to support Leasing and Retail Development in their efforts to fill the marketplace with brands, to attract loyal and new buyers, and to create market experiences that are inspiring and promote exhibitors. For this show, the team has been hard at work.
