The January 2023 Apparel & Accessories | KidsWorld Market will break records for the number of exhibiting companies including new exhibitors across the marketplace and the debut of THE GOODS by Brand Assembly. The show grew by 20% in 2022 and continues to be the largest marketplace in the country for women’s apparel, accessories, and footwear. The January show takes place on top of the WESA International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Market and the AETA International Trade Show, making our campus the place to be. It also overlaps the Total Home & Gift Market on Monday & Tuesday, allowing gift and home buyers to shop open Apparel & Accessories Resources. Our team has been BUSY leasing the show across temporaries and permanents, delivering the buyers, promoting the market, and planning events. The Dallas Apparel & Accessories and KidsWorld Market is the biggest apparel show in the country and it continues to grow by bringing in the hottest trending fashion resources.
For January, the 7th floor remains completely leased, as does the KidsWorld Studio on WTC 8. The 14th Floor Western and English resources are also 100% leased. The 13th floor permanents have 1 remaining available showroom. On 15 the coolest contemporary brands continue to flourish and expand to bring in more lines buyers are hungry to shop.
Footwear is growing big in Dallas! In October the Footwear Temporaries made their debut on WTC 10 and they will be back in force this market with these new and noteworthy lines: Frye Boots, Phillipe Model Paris, Marc Fisher, ASH, Schutz, Birkenstock, and K Swiss on WTC 10.
The hottest young contemporary brands are in Dallas! WTC 12 Young Contemporary Temps are sold out and have expanded and grown to WTC 10 with new and existing loyal exhibitors that buyers love.
WTC 13 Temps are the place to be! Top-end lines continue to discover the 13th floor Apparel & Accessories temps and grow this hip and trending floor. Following that energy Dallas Market Center has partnered with Brand Assembly to curate a one-of-a-kind market experience - The Wellness Refinery. Life is all about balance - work hard, play hard, and love yourself! Take a minute to unwind and immerse yourself in vibrant activations and enjoy nutritious goodies.
New for January is The Goods by Brand Assembly on WTC 10. The 17,000 square foot space showcases more than 40 exceptional and elevated brands presenting their collections across all product categories including apparel, accessories, footwear, gift, home décor, and western. Ready to wear from Aqua Bendita, Alyson Eastman, Place Nationale, Marine Layer, It is Well and dozens of others are complemented by accessories from KUU, Sierra Winter, Nash & Ivy, Wanderlust & Co, and others as well as select footwear lines and western collections from Daniel X Diamond, Kit Santa Fe, Dixon Rand, and others. An open house will be held January 10-12, with an opening party taking place January 11th from 4-6 p.m. Special guest is Daniel X Diamond, featuring pieces from the iconic collection and a display of looks worn by Carrie Underwood, Gwen Stefani, and Miranda Lambert.

DMC's Retail Development team helps bring buyers to Dallas by calling, visiting, and touring stores personally. Each morning of market at 9am, on the first floor of the World Trade Center Atrium, our team welcomes buyers and provides a market orientation called the DMC Scoop. This kind of specialized service before, at, and after market sets Dallas apart and serves up that friendly Texas hospitality.
The total attendance by retailers at all five apparel, accessories and footwear trade events in 2022 was up almost 20% and the number of buyers attending for the first time was up more than 40% compared to 2019, pre-pandemic numbers. Attendance from key territories was also up for the year: the southeast increased 86%, the upper midwest increased 91%, and the west increased 104% compared to 2019.
For January Market, independent retailers from across the country will be joined by multi-location retail buying groups, and major stores eager to travel to a single location to fulfil their buying needs across lifestyle categories.
