The September 2022 Dallas Design Week is upon us! Our team has been BUSY planning the event and promoting the week. Dallas Design Week coincides with ArchLIGHT Summit (Trade Mart), WestEdge Design Fair (Market Hall), and Artexpo (Market Hall). With all of this happening it will be a Design Week to remember! Keep reading to see everything we’ve been doing to help promote your business.
Dallas is the largest open-daily market place in the country and this week our 1.5 million square feet of design showrooms across home and lighting will be hopping. With the expansion of our temporary trade show space on WTC 10 several showrooms have relocated to new homes. Join us in welcoming the following exhibitors to their new homes:
Ashore (WTC 531), B&S Lighting (TM3640), Elegant Lighting (TM 3060 & 3420), Ethan & Associates (WTC 9048), and InStyle Gallery (WTC 9050).
StyleCraft + Harp & Finial remains in WTC 10074 for September and Uttermost + Revelation will be meeting with customers in their interim home, IHDC 2F309 until both showrooms move later this fall to their new homes.
Also, on campus for Design Week is a temporary showing of tabletop brands from over 100 vendors; including, Thibaut, Kravet, Brunschwig & Fils, Scalamandre, Osbourne and Little, Arteriors, Fabricut, Dorothy Draper, Maxwell and so much more. The event is hosted by Dallas Road Reps and will take place in IHDC 1D309 - Tuesday 1pm - 6pm, Wednesday 10am - 6pm, and Thursday 10am - 3pm.
Dallas Design Week is taking place at the same time as Total Home & Gift Market, ArchLIGHT Summit, which is the new commercial and architectural lighting event in the Trade Mart; and two design events at Market Hall: WestEdge Design Fair and Artexpo Dallas.
WestEdge Design Fair is a three-day event that offers the opportunity to shop from premium design brands and meet the designers behind thousands of inspiring products. Details available at https://westedgedesignfair.com/

DMC's Buyer Delivery team helps bring designers to Dallas by calling, visiting, and meeting them personally. We are ready to welcome hundreds of designers and home buyers to our campus this week. Tuesday to Thursday morning of market at 9am, on the first floor of the World Trade Center Atrium, our team welcomes buyers and designers and provides a market orientation called the DMC Scoop. This kind of specialized service before, at, and after market sets Dallas apart and serves up that friendly Texas hospitality.

Rooms that can "do it all" have become a significant focus in design, as more and more bedrooms are serving as offices, game rooms as home theaters and kitchens as classrooms. Design Wine Walk | Monday at 3pm | Begins in the World Trade Center Atrium - Hosted by Platinum Design Week Sponsors. Meet on the 1st Floor of the World Trade Center to kick-off your shopping adventure with a red or white pour and list of design showrooms to peruse.

Then join Dallas Market Center and Sherwin Williams for lunch while being inspired by an in-depth survey of the influences and drivers for design color in 2023.
The Power of Personality & Personal Touch in Spaces | Wednesday at 11am | World Trade Center Atrium - Join Luxe Interiors + Design Texas Homes Editor, Paulette Pearson, as she leads a discussion with four incredibly talented designers on how to curate beautiful spaces that highlight your most unique self. Panelists to include Mike and Bryan Yates of Yates Desygn, Shay Geyer of IBB Design, and Traci Connell of Traci Connell Interiors.
The Science of Design | Wednesday 3pm | World Trade Center Atrium - Join Kelli Lamb, Editorial Director of RUE Magazine, and Danny Seo, designer and Co-Principal of RUE, as they discuss the science of why a beautiful room works. It's not just about having good taste and an endless bank account, it's about knowing why certain things work, why they cost what they cost, and then how to use this information to transform your home into a pin worthy home.
