DMC Kicks Up the Footwear Category

Written by Dallas Market Center | July 20, 2026

For the August 18–21 Apparel & Accessories Market, footwear will be positioned as an important category for retailers to integrate into their merchandise mix, featured in permanent showrooms, temporary booths and a special international representation inside a Colombia footwear pavilion.

The show takes place at the same time as WESA’s International Western/English Apparel & Equipment Market and the AETA International Show showcasing equestrian industry products from leading manufacturers.

“We are providing thousands of loyal retailers attending our shows even more reasons to discover, and expand their merchandise mix with footwear,” said DMC president and CEO Cindy Morris. “Retailers may easily offer their customers the opportunity to complete their look with the right footwear on the spot.”

On the 13th and 15th floors, iconic footwear brands Olukai, Vaneli, Cole Haan, Steve Madden, Blondo, Matisse, Johnston & Murphy, San Antonio Shoemakers, Clarks, Vionic, Frankie4, Victoria, Butrich, Tkees, TOMS Shows, Hari Mari, Ipanema, Gola Classics and others are in permanent showrooms.

Temporary exhibitors on 13 will include new arrivals Vanessa Wu, Seychelles Imports, Bambi Bali Boots and El Vaquero Italy. These brands join Born/Kork-Ease, Forever Unlimited Frye, Future Brands Group, HH Brown, Mia Shoes, PGF Footwear, Shu Shop and Stivali New York.

International flair arrives on the 13th floor via ProColombia's curated pavilion featuring eight Colombian footwear lines in a striking open-concept booth: Calzado Kadosh, Calzado Maraldo, Pabla, Flor De Coral, Grupo Inalkem, Tula Store, Valsu and Y.Lo Shoes.

Western and workwear favorites—Rios of Mercedes, Corral, Justin, Lucchese, Ariat, Dan Post, Twisted X and more—anchor the market's footwear in permanent showrooms on the 14th floor.

New brands abound on the 10th floor: Joining permanent showrooms Tecovas, Cuadra and others are new showrooms from Red Wing Shoe Company and Carhartt Footwear while Wrangler Footwear, Old Gringo Boots and Hyer Boots are expanding their presence.

Beyond new and expanding exhibitors, footwear will be activated at the August markets with a dedicated atrium display showcasing retail-ready footwear merchandising with a QR code linking to a special instructional video.
