DMC Gets its Neon Cowboy on for Western Market

Written by Dallas Market Center | September 9, 2024

If you missed the big Neon Cowboy Western Party at the recent WESA and AETA market, you missed quite a party. To celebrate the market and the 145th anniversary of co-sponsor Justin Boots, hundreds of people gathered in the cowboy-decorated Atrium of the World Trade Center for an evening of live music by Fort Worth’s Wynn Williams, great specialty food and drinks and giveaways from DMC and Justin. Party-goers also got the chance to have their picture taken with the Texas Rangers’ World Series Trophy marking their 2023 victory.

The party capped off a market that included a preview of the new permanent Western expansion on the 10th floor of the WTC. Officially opening in January, the roster of exhibitors who are taking space include Levi’s, Signature Products Group, Cinch, Thorogood, CAT Workwear, Ariat, Kensington Protective, Shires Equestrian, Sendero Provision and Staunch Traditional Outfitters. Tecovas, the popular DTC Western boot brand, will launch its wholesale business with its first showroom on the floor.

DMC’s Bailey Watson, vice president of leasing, was on hand to meet with vendors looking to lease permanent space on the floor too.

And not to worry if you missed the party this time: DMC plans to bring back the all-industry Western party in January. For more information on the market, you can visit wesatradeshow.com or DMC’s website.
