Design Ambassador Program: An Exhibitor Partnership Guide

Posted by Dallas Market Center on July 21, 2026

Are you familiar with Dallas Market Center's Design Ambassador Program? If you are an exhibitor at DMC, you might soon be paid a visit from an Ambassador looking to source pieces for their vignette. And if some of those words still aren't familiar, read on to learn more about how your partnership and participation can help elevate Design at DMC to an even higher level.

What is the Design Ambassador Program?

Designed to foster meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships, the program brings together leading voices in interior design, elevates the Ambassadors’ influence, and supports the broader design community.

The current program is already underway and runs through June 2027, when the next Ambassador class will be announced. These inaugural Design Ambassadors are Beth Dotolo and Carolina V. Gentry of Pulp Design Studios, Courtney and Teddie Garrigan of Coco & Dash, Javier Burkle of Burkle Creative, Eddie Maestri of Maestri, Jen Stevens of Fonde Interiors, and Bryan and Mike Yates of Yates Desygn.

How can my showroom partner with the Ambassadors?

The Ambassadors will be making product picks from among all open-daily Design showrooms across DMC and creating shoppable vignettes. Their collection of picks, made on their schedule, will be used across marketing channels while the vignettes will be on display inside DMC for several months.

How can I be selected for either of these?

The Ambassadors have free reign to select what they like for their picks and vignettes. These selections are done on their schedule but meet certain deadlines established by DMC and with the directive from DMC to select across multiple neighborhoods. To participate, you simply must agree if asked by an Ambassador.

What are the key benefits for participating exhibitors?

    • Showcase products in professionally designed interior installations at DMC.

    • Receive professional photography featuring your products.

    • Gain recognition on vignette signage and dedicated web pages.

    • Receive exposure through Dallas Market Center's marketing, social media, newsletters, and print publications.

    • Collaborate with nationally recognized interior designers.

    • Benefit from extended visibility through rotating displays.

Tell me more about the vignettes.

Each vignette is a collection of products from multiple DMC showrooms styled as one “look” that will be professionally photographed and then displayed inside Dallas Market Center with signage crediting each showroom’s products used in the vignette. The vignette photography and installations are being promoted across Dallas Market Center's marketing channels — providing exhibitors with ongoing product exposure and recognition. In fact, the new advertising campaign for Design at Dallas Market Center utilizes photography of the vignettes!

How does the vignette process work?

First, the Ambassador develops the design concept, which is approved by DMC for scale and theme. Then the Ambassador makes product selections from all Design showrooms across Dallas Market Center. Next, Dallas Market Center coordinates installation and professional photography. Finally, the vignette is installed in Dallas Market Center for approximately two months. With exhibitor approval, vignettes may rotate to additional high-traffic locations for an extended period of time.
