Dallas Market Center is partnering with Business of Home to introduce an exciting new educational initiative designed specifically for interior designers. The Business of Home x Dallas Market Center Business Accelerator Series marks a two-year collaboration that brings business-building programming to the design community throughout both spring and fall events.

The series will debut on Tuesday, April 14, at Dallas Design Days, with its first session titled Landing the Right Work. This half-day program focuses on one of the most critical aspects of running a successful design business: winning the right clients. Through a combination of expert-led workshops and panels moderated by Business of Home Editor-in-Chief Kaitlin Petersen, designers will gain insights into refining their firm’s positioning, communicating value, and attracting the right clients.
“We are proud to partner with Business of Home to bring meaningful, business-focused education to our design community,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “This two-year collaboration reflects our commitment to providing designers with the tools and insights they need to grow stronger businesses.”
Future sessions in the series will feature topics such as The First Impression, which explores how a designer’s digital presence shapes client perception, and Make the First Contact Count, where designers share strategies for structuring initial conversations to set expectations and determine project fit. The programming will continue later in the year at Dallas Design Week on September 15, with additional sessions to be announced.
Registration for this first-of-its-kind series opens in early March, and space is limited. Early registration is encouraged due to strong expected interest from designers locally and nationally.
