One of the highlights of the January show schedule at the Dallas Market Center has always been the ARTS Awards, the premier awards program in the U.S. honoring top manufacturers, retailers, designers and sales representatives.
In 2025 the gala will be held on Friday, Jan. 10 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel across the street from the Market Center and while the winners are always a closely kept secret, there are several special honors being given out this year that have already been announced.
Andy Singer, founder and CEO of Visual Comfort, the lighting and décor specialty resource, will receive the Academy of Achievement honor marking his accomplishments in making his company one of the premier vendors in the field. Sharon Davis, executive director of ART, said, “It’s an honor to present the Academy of Achievement to someone who has transformed the lighting industry through his visionary leadership and dedication to design excellence.”
Another special honor will go to Lois Del Negro who will be the Trailblazer honoree. A third special honor will go the H Foundation, the charitable organization supporting cancer research and awareness, which will receive the HEARTS Award. “It is an honor to receive the HEARTS Award,” said John Rot, president of the H Foundation and owner of a retail lighting showroom. “We are grateful for the support of our partners and advocates who share our vision.
