With much of North American retail operating under new mandates and guidelines to control the spread of COVID-19, lighting vendors are coming through for their showroom partners with special promotions and programs to make delivery of goods more practical and affordable. What’s more, brands are maintaining production and overcoming supply chain disruptions to get those products to the customers who need them.
Dallas Market Center reached out to Lightovation exhibitors to find out who had in-stock products, ready to ship, and who had special offers for showrooms during these unprecedented times. Here’s what they reported:
Adesso: Adesso will have ample stock for immediate shipping. The company is running its regular trade show promotion: Place $2,000 order or more and receive free freight.
Aeratron: The company is open and shipping its fans Monday through Friday from Aeratron’s Los Angeles warehouse. Most fans are currently in stock or will be by May 1. The company is running a 10% off special with free shipping. Use the code Spring10.
Artcraft Lighting: The company has products in stock—customers can log on to www.artcraftlighting.com to check inventory. A login is required; customers can contact marissa@artcraftlighting.com if they do not have a login. The company is offering Free Freight Tuesday, extra 30-day terms and drop-ship facilities. Avenue Lighting: The company has good stock on all of its best-selling collections. Avenue Lighting is offering free shipping or free drop shipping on all orders. Use promo code: STAYHOME. Bulbrite: Even though the company is in the epicenter of the crisis right outside of NYC, Bulbrite is open for business and has inventory for everything from it Decorative Filaments to it Builder Collection to its Bulbrite Solana Smart LED Bulb Collection. The company also just launched its Craftmade Heavy-Duty Commercial Grade String Lights, available in your choice of LED or Vintage Edison incandescent bulbs.
Crystorama: The company has in-stock items and inventory is updated daily. It’s available on the company’s FTP for customers to download, and it’s also updated daily with Lights America and XOLights. Crystorama is running a drop-ship freight promotion for showroom customers. Details were e-mailed to the company’s customer base on March 27 and sent to showroom reps.
Dale Tiffany: While there are some backordered items, most of the company’s products are available in stock. Please call customer service at (714) 739-2700 Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The company has four free freight offers, with escalating discounts based on the size of the order: Level 1 ($1,000 order) offers full freight allowance. Eurofase: Eurofase is still open for business, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm EDT. The company is serving its customers, not only in shipping and receiving, but any other requirements including product availability, technical assistance and customer service support.
GM Lighting: All of the company’s products offered are in-stock. GM Lighting’s new LTR Series of 12V and 24V tape as well as power supplies and connectors are readily available. The new tunable white under cabinet fixture, Covalinear is also ready to go. The company also has ample stock of all of its undercabinet, lightbar, recessed and surface, step and pathway, and power supplies. GM Lighting is a supplier to essential building services, and have been shipping non-stop while keeping socially distanced, and plan on continuing to do so. The company works with its showrooms individually if there are any challenges, and often do promotional campaigns.
GS Designs: Gama Sonic is receiving and shipping orders daily. Right now, the company’s turnaround time on order fulfillment is the same as always: your order will be shipped within 24-48 hours after receipt. A few products are out of stock but most will be ready in June.
Hammerton: Hammerton has been fully operational throughout the COVID-19 crisis. The company continues to support customers with the same level of service they’ve come to expect from Hammerton. Quotation and lead times remain unchanged, and new product work is running full steam ahead. This is all possible because of the company’s dedicated and solution-focused team, as well as Hammerton’s reliable supply chain of predominantly domestic suppliers.

Drop shipments will be limited to within the home state of each showroom.
Matteo: The company has excellent stock levels including almost all of the January 2020 collection. Containers are arriving steadily and their shipping department and customer service teams are operating as usual. They are open and ready to process your orders. And...they are waiving the drop ship fee until further notice.
Matthews Fan Company: Matthews Fan is 98% stocked and shipping. The company is open 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. The following terms are available to all brick-and-mortar showrooms until June 30: Matthews Fan Company is offering a 5% discount on invoices paid within 10 days of receipt or a 3% discount if the invoice is paid by credit card during the same time period. If you already qualify for Free Freight Forever at any time to your showroom or warehouse, the company is now extending that service to drop-ship orders. Boxes will now not have to be handled twice. Matthews has never charged handling or drop-ship fees. And the company has never charged restock fees on product returned in pristine, resaleable condition.
