Dr. Mariana Figueiro, an accomplished researcher, Health Program Director at the Lighting Research Center (LRC), and Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, presented her most recent research on the topic of lighting and health during January 2017 Lightovation.
Her discussion dove deep into the non-visual effects of light – primarily how light can affect an individual’s health and wellbeing and how manufacturers can begin to incorporate this concept into lighting design.
